So here I am writing a blog. Actually not a likely scenario.
But I, like many others, do a fair amount of communication on-line. Never really enjoying the phone for catching up, email is a quick replacement for the letters I used to write (yes, I was one of those).
I still pale in comparison to those who date on line, read books on-line, do ALL their banking on-line. But shopping, paying bills, blogging and a ton of other pretty private activities are hosted in this medium. An incredible amount of money is exchanged, yet we can’t vote on- line.
One Super Tuesday reporter commented that polls indicate the % of voters would increase substantially if folks could do it on-line. They laughed it off as nonsense, assuming it could way too easily be fraught with fraud.
I say, FIGURE IT OUT! If people are telling you the answer on how to improve the fundamental piece of democracy, in the words of Project Runway… “Make It Work!”
As for me, Hillary. I wasn’t certain initially, but I’ve been able to clear the clouds.
